Renovating, demolishing, re-roofing or replacing a damaged switchboard? Before work can start, your property often needs to be safely disconnected from the network, then reconnected and energised when the job is done. As a Level 2 ASP we are authorised to do both.
We work with builders, roofers, painters, demolition contractors and homeowners to schedule disconnections around your project so you're without power for as little time as possible.
When the work is complete, we test the installation, reconnect supply, energise the site and lodge the compliance paperwork with the network operator.
What's included
- Temporary disconnection for renovations and roofing
- Permanent disconnection for demolition
- Reconnection and energising after works

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to disconnect power before demolition?
Yes. The network operator requires a formal disconnection by a Level 2 ASP before a building is demolished. We can provide the paperwork your demolition contractor needs.
How quickly can you reconnect?
In most cases we can reconnect in the same visit once the electrical work has been tested and certified. Call us early and we'll fit you in as soon as possible.
